Dr. Jaron S. Green is the Director of the Lincoln Public Schools METCO Program and an experienced educational leader, scholar-practitioner, and restorative practices facilitator. With more than fifteen years of experience in student support, school culture, family engagement, counseling-informed leadership, and equity-centered practice, he has led initiatives focused on belonging, behavioral intervention, restorative discipline, and student success. His work sits at the intersection of school leadership, culturally responsive student support, restorative practice, and authentic school-family partnership.

Dr. Green holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University, where his research examined African American fathers’ perspectives on engagement in their children’s education. His scholarship explores Black fatherhood, educational equity, belonging, and the transformative possibilities of family-school collaboration. He has served as a guest lecturer at Harvard University, Brandeis University, and Stonehill College, and through his research, speaking, and writing, he challenges educators and institutions to reexamine who is positioned at the center of educational change. Dr. Green was recently honored at Morehouse College, where he was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr. College of Ministers and Laity Board of Preachers, Scholars, and Sponsors, a class of adaptive leaders who practice in the Black Social Gospel tradition and whose ethical, spiritual, and moral leadership helps shape a more just world.
